Ways To Work Together

Start with a short call.

The best first step is a free discovery call. We’ll talk through what is happening, where growth feels stuck, and whether there’s a clear next step. If deeper work makes sense, we can decide whether diagnosis, a focused project, or a bounded advisory relationship is the right fit.

Best place to start

Free Discovery Call

A short, low-pressure conversation to understand what you are trying to solve and whether I can help.

Free · 20 minutes

I work with local service businesses, contractors, shops, churches, and nonprofits that need greater clarity around marketing strategy, messaging, local visibility, reviews, websites, and conversion. Based in Porter, Texas, I serve businesses across northeast Houston, Montgomery County, and surrounding communities.

Choose a time that works and answer a few short questions so I can understand your situation before we talk.

What You Walk Away With

A useful first conversation, not a hard sell.

The discovery call is not meant to solve everything. It is meant to give both of us a clearer read on whether there’s a real fit and what kind of next step would be useful.

A clearer read

We’ll name what you are trying to improve and where things currently feel unclear or stuck.

An honest answer

If I think I can help, I’ll say so. If not, I’ll try to point you in a better direction.

A practical next step

You’ll know whether to keep things simple, book a deeper session, or consider a focused project.

A low-pressure start

No big pitch. No long-term commitment. Just a useful conversation.

If Deeper Work Is Needed

Three ways to move forward.

A free discovery call can help determine the right fit. From there, you may need a focused diagnosis, a defined project, or ongoing advisory. When the problem is already clear, you can also begin directly with a project.

Deeper Diagnosis

Growth Clarity Session

A focused strategy session for owners who want a direct diagnosis and prioritized recommendations.

Investment: $200 · 60 minutes

Includes a focused 60-minute working session, light preparation and review, and a written recap with two or three prioritized next steps. This is diagnosis and strategy only; implementation is not included.

Best when

Best when you need diagnosis and direction before implementation.

  • Where your business is getting stuck
  • What to fix first
  • What matters most right now

Defined Implementation

Focused Growth Projects

Strategy plus defined setup or implementation for one clearly scoped bottleneck or desired outcome.

About two to three weeks

Focused projects are priced according to scope after the problem and desired outcome are clearly defined.

Best when

Best when the problem and desired outcome are already clear.

  • One clearly defined problem
  • A practical, bounded scope
  • Setup or implementation when included
  • A clear handoff

Ongoing Prioritization

Growth Partner Advisory

Selective ongoing support for owners who want help prioritizing decisions, reviewing progress, and staying focused as the business grows.

Regular strategic check-ins, feedback and prioritization, with limited training or implementation support when clearly defined.

Common Focused Projects

One bottleneck. One desired outcome. A defined scope.

These are common starting points, not fixed packages. Each project is shaped around the business problem, the outcome that matters, and what can be completed responsibly within the agreed scope.

Typical duration: about two to three weeks, depending on scope.

Focused projects are priced according to scope after the problem and desired outcome are clearly defined.

Local Visibility

Local Visibility Foundation

The business problem

Nearby customers may have trouble finding the business, verifying the details, or seeing enough evidence to trust it.

Desired outcome

Make the business easier to find, verify, and trust when nearby customers are already looking for what it offers.

What may be included

  • Google Business Profile access, categories, services, description, and service-area review
  • Local keyword and search-results review with recommendations for priority website pages
  • Review and reputation signal review, including a request link and simple request messages
  • Citation and directory review
  • Basic measurement setup when simple and appropriate

What you receive

  • Updated or clearly documented Google Business Profile improvements
  • A prioritized local visibility plan
  • Review-request link and simple messages
  • Written handoff notes and maintenance guidance

Implementation may be completed by Alexander when access and scope allow, or completed collaboratively through guided recommendations.

This is a focused foundation project, not ongoing SEO management, paid advertising, or a full website rebuild.

Website Clarity

Website Message & Action Tune-Up

The business problem

The right customers may reach the website but still struggle to understand the offer, why it matters, or what to do next.

Desired outcome

Help the right customers quickly understand what the business offers, why it matters, and what to do next.

What may be included

  • Positioning, primary headline, offer clarity, and message hierarchy
  • Priority homepage, service-page, or inquiry-path sections tied to the current bottleneck
  • Trust signals, calls to action, navigation, and mobile experience
  • Basic SEO titles and descriptions
  • Basic analytics setup when appropriate

What you receive

  • Customer-journey review
  • Revised message hierarchy and rewritten priority sections
  • CTA and trust recommendations
  • Implemented changes where practical, plus final handoff notes

Copy and layout changes may be implemented when the site uses a manageable CMS such as WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or Shopify. Custom-coded implementation is scoped separately and may require developer collaboration.

This is a focused tune-up, not a full visual rebrand, custom website rebuild, ecommerce build, or ongoing maintenance plan.

Lead Follow-Up

Lead Follow-Up System

The business problem

Good opportunities can be lost when no one can quickly see who contacted the business, who owns the response, or what should happen next.

Desired outcome

Create a simple, repeatable process for responding, following up, and learning what happens to each lead.

What may be included

  • Inquiry and follow-up journey mapping for the lead types that matter most
  • A simple lead tracker when useful
  • Response-time standards, ownership rules, next actions, and outcomes
  • Message templates and repeatable follow-up steps
  • Light setup using simple tools or existing platforms when the scope is reasonably clear

What you receive

  • Inquiry and follow-up journey map
  • Lead tracker, response standard, and ownership rules when useful
  • Follow-up sequence and message templates
  • Basic handoff, training, and reporting recommendations

The lightest dependable system may use tools such as Google Sheets, Gmail templates, Google Voice, form notifications, Google Calendar, Calendly, or a basic Zapier workflow.

This is a bounded follow-up system, not a CRM migration, complex sales automation, ongoing lead response, or custom software build.

If the problem and desired outcome are already clear, you can begin with a defined project. A Growth Clarity Session is useful, but it is not required before every project.

How I Work

Focused help, not endless marketing noise.

The goal is not to do everything. The goal is to identify the right constraint and take the next useful step.

Clarity before tactics

We start by understanding what is actually helping, what is not, and where the friction is.

One constraint at a time

Most businesses do not need to fix everything at once. They need to focus on the highest-leverage issue.

Simple next steps

Recommendations should be practical enough to act on, not theoretical, bloated, or overwhelming.

Common Questions

What business owners usually want to know.

Marketing consulting can mean a lot of different things. These answers explain what I help with, how the process works, and where it usually makes sense to begin.

What does a marketing consultant help a small business with?

I help local small business owners understand what is actually holding back growth and decide what to focus on next. That may involve local visibility, customer reviews and trust, website messaging, or friction in the inquiry and follow-up process. Rather than beginning with a disconnected tactic, I look at how customers find, trust, understand, and choose the business. The goal is to identify the primary constraint and give you a practical direction, so you can invest your time and marketing budget more wisely.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

I work best with established, owner-led local businesses that have a proven product or service but no internal marketing strategist. Often, something is already working through referrals or repeat customers, but the owner wants more visibility, stronger trust, clearer messaging, or a better path from interest to inquiry. This commonly includes local service businesses, hospitality businesses, and other businesses with a physical presence or defined service area. I am usually not the best fit for a large company with strong marketing leadership or a business primarily seeking high-volume task execution.

What happens during a Growth Clarity Session?

A Growth Clarity Session is a focused 60-minute working session designed to identify your primary marketing constraint and the best next steps. Before the session, I complete a light review of your website, local search presence, customer reviews, and inquiry journey. During our conversation, we discuss your goals, ideal customers, current marketing, and where growth feels stuck. We then look at visibility, reputation, messaging, and action, and narrow the conversation to two or three practical priorities. It is a diagnosis and prioritization session, not a comprehensive marketing audit or full implementation project.

What do I receive after the session?

You receive a brief written recap that turns the conversation into a practical plan. It will summarize what is working, identify the primary marketing constraint, and outline two or three recommended actions in priority order. I will explain why each action matters, the simplest way to begin, and what may not be worth prioritizing yet. When appropriate, I will also identify a possible focused project or another logical next step. The recap is meant to be useful whether you implement the recommendations yourself, hire someone else, or continue working with me.

Do you implement the recommendations or just tell me what to do?

Both are possible, but the work begins with diagnosis and direction. After a Growth Clarity Session, you can take the plan and implement it yourself, hire another specialist, or ask me to help with a clearly defined project. I may implement website messaging, Google Business Profile improvements, a review-request system, inquiry follow-up, or another focused priority when it fits the scope. I do not automatically become your full-service marketing department or take over every channel. The goal is to solve the right problem without creating unnecessary work or cost.

Can you help with my website, Google Business Profile, reviews, social media, or follow-up?

Yes, when one of those areas is the right bottleneck to address. Focused Growth Projects may include Google Business Profile optimization, local search foundations, customer review systems, website messaging, calls to action, inquiry flow, or lead follow-up. I can also help clarify what your social media should accomplish or create a practical starting framework, but ongoing posting and account management are not usually my primary service. I first look at the broader customer journey so we do not spend time improving a tactic that is not the main constraint.

Should I start with a Growth Clarity Session or a focused project?

Most businesses should start with a Growth Clarity Session because it helps confirm which project would create the most value. Business owners often arrive asking for a website, social media, advertising, or another specific tactic, but the underlying problem may be different. Starting with diagnosis reduces the risk of paying for the wrong solution. A focused project may make sense immediately when the problem, desired outcome, and scope are already clear. A brief introductory conversation can help us decide which starting point is most appropriate.

How much does it cost to work with you?

The investment for a 60-minute Growth Clarity Session is $200. Focused projects are priced according to scope after the problem and desired outcome are clearly defined. Growth Partner Advisory is priced according to the relationship and its bounded scope. You do not need to commit to a project or ongoing support in order to book a Growth Clarity Session.
