Privacy Policy

Information may be collected:

• Directly from you when you submit the intake form, send an email, book a meeting, complete a payment, or otherwise communicate with me
• Automatically through website hosting, analytics, and security technologies
• Through service providers when you choose to use their booking, video-meeting, email, or payment services

When you follow a link to an external booking or payment page, the information you submit is transmitted electronically to that provider under its own privacy practices.

When you submit the website intake form, the site validates your responses and uses Resend to transmit them to my Google Workspace inbox. The application does not write intake submissions to a website database. Email copies may remain in Resend or Google Workspace according to account settings and provider retention practices.

I may use information to:

• Respond to questions and intake submissions
• Understand your business and determine whether my services may be useful
• Prepare for and conduct discovery calls, Growth Clarity Sessions, projects, or advisory work
• Schedule meetings and communicate about appointments
• Process payments, refunds, invoices, and transaction records
• Deliver consulting services and written follow-up
• Maintain client and business records
• Improve the website, services, and customer experience
• Monitor website reliability and security
• Prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

The intake form also uses the business information and notes you submit to generate a simple on-page suggestion about whether a discovery conversation or a session may make sense. That suggestion is only general guidance and does not approve or deny a service, payment, or other legal right.

I do not use intake or client information to send unrelated promotional email unless the person separately requests or consents to receive it.

I do not sell or rent personal information. I do not disclose personal information for targeted advertising.

Information may be shared with service providers that help operate the website and business. Depending on how you interact with me, these providers may include:

• Vercel, for website hosting, infrastructure, Web Analytics, and security
• Ahrefs, for cookie-free website analytics
• Google, for Google Workspace email, Google Calendar scheduling, and Google Meet
• Stripe, for payment processing, transaction management, fraud prevention, receipts, and refunds
• Resend, for transmitting website intake submissions by email
• Professional advisers or contractors when reasonably necessary to provide a service, maintain the business, or comply with professional obligations

These providers receive or process information electronically only as reasonably necessary to perform their services. Their own privacy policies and terms also govern their handling of information.

Information may also be disclosed:

• When required by law, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request
• To protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Alexander Gartley Marketing Consulting, its clients, website visitors, or others
• To investigate fraud, abuse, security concerns, or violations of an agreement
• As part of a future business reorganization, transfer, sale, or succession, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections

Payments are processed through Stripe-hosted checkout services. Payment-card information is entered directly into Stripe’s systems and is not stored on this website.

I may receive transaction information from Stripe, such as the customer’s name, email address, billing details, amount paid, transaction status, payment-method type, and limited card details such as the brand and last four digits. Stripe processes payment information according to its privacy policy and security practices.

Appointment scheduling is provided through Google Calendar. When you book a meeting, Google may process information such as your name, email address, selected appointment time, booking responses, and invited guests.

Meetings may be conducted through Google Meet. Information submitted to Google is also subject to Google’s privacy policy and account settings.

Guests should receive permission before entering another person’s email address or personal information when adding them to an appointment.

This website uses privacy-focused Vercel Web Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics. Both provide aggregated or anonymized usage information without using cookies or persistent identifiers to track visitors across websites.

The website does not currently use advertising pixels, cross-site behavioral tracking, cookies for targeted advertising, CAPTCHA tools, or embedded third-party forms.

The Shadowbox Legends browser game uses local storage on your device to save game progress, including coins, wins, and unlocked fighters. That game-progress data remains in your browser and is not transmitted by the game code. You can remove it by clearing stored site data in your browser, which will reset your progress.

Essential browser or infrastructure technologies may still be used when necessary to deliver, secure, or operate the website.

I retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Retention may depend on:

• Whether an inquiry or client relationship remains active
• The time reasonably needed to provide services and follow up
• Accounting, tax, payment, and recordkeeping obligations
• Fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal requirements
• The retention practices of service providers

Information that is no longer reasonably needed may be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of. Some records may remain in routine backups or service-provider systems for a limited period before being removed through their normal retention processes.

I use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information handled. These measures include limiting access to information, using reputable service providers, maintaining account security, and transmitting website traffic through secure connections.

Payment-card information is handled by Stripe rather than stored on this website.

No internet transmission, email system, payment system, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should avoid sending sensitive information that is not necessary for the service you are requesting.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the ability to request:

• Access to information held about you
• Correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion of information
• Information about how your data is used or shared
• Withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent

I may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, maintain financial records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or establish or defend legal claims.

I will not discriminate against someone for making a legitimate privacy request.

Because I do not sell personal information or process it for targeted advertising, there is currently no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out process.

This website and its consulting services are intended for business owners and other adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact hello@alexandergartley.com so the information can be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.

This website may link to services or websites operated by other organizations, including booking, payment, social media, browser-game, and business-analysis tools.

I do not control those external services. Their privacy policies and terms govern information submitted directly to them.

The Business Growth Snapshot is a separate application linked from this site and may have its own privacy notice. This policy does not automatically govern information submitted directly to that application.

This policy may be updated when the website, services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised when material changes are made.
